My Journey to Financial Independence and Retiring Early

Find Out Your Lifetime Earnings

Calculate Your Lifetime Earnings | www.thefiredrill.com

How much money have you earned in your lifetime? Here’s an easy way to find out!

Check out the SSA.gov website! Once you create an account and login you can view your earnings records from every year that you’ve filed taxes. You can also see how much you and your employers have paid into Social Security and Medicare, and estimate your Social Security benefits.

I thought it would be fun to do a quick exercise. Log in to SSA.gov and add up all of your earnings over the years. How much of that do you still have? 5%? 10%? 30%? More?

Are you shocked by this number? Let me know in the comments!
